Hello, my name is Chris. Avalon Art was created based on my interest in photography. My original photos were taken around the Northern Beaches area and I primarily focused on the many variations of the moods of Avalon Beach. Using software, I then took these photos and converted them into canvas artworks to resemble paintings rather than just photos. Having moved to Lake Macquarie, I am now focusing my photo-art on locations around the Central Coast, Newcastle and the Hunter Region. I am also converting some photos of my favourite shots of overseas locations. I hope you enjoy my "paintings".

    I was at Avalon Beach one day taking a few photos and could not help seeing a couple of young girls having a great time in the tidal pool.

    As the waves rolled in, they were holding on tightly to the chain fence and seeing who could avoid being washed off the wall as the waves hit them.

    I couldn’t help but capture this moment of fun.

    ‘Pool Girls’ is now available on canvas wrapped on a high quality 32mm frame in semi-gloss and ready to hang.
