Hello, my name is Chris. Avalon Art was created based on my interest in photography. My original photos were taken around the Northern Beaches area and I primarily focused on the many variations of the moods of Avalon Beach. Using software, I then took these photos and converted them into canvas artworks to resemble paintings rather than just photos. Having moved to Lake Macquarie, I am now focusing my photo-art on locations around the Central Coast, Newcastle and the Hunter Region. I am also converting some photos of my favourite shots of overseas locations. I hope you enjoy my "paintings".

Description

Burano is an island about 10kms northeast from Venice and is very famous for its needle lace and the production of venetian masks.

Apart from the beautiful rows of colorful buildings that can be found along the various streets that run along the canals, the canals themselves are most colorful via the reflections that are made from their surroundings.

Another colorful canvas that would certainly brighten up any room.
